Proudly a MUSLIM…

by Bint Abdul Khaliq

I’m sitting here and I’m trying to realize my bearings in this huge place. When I’m talking about HUGE,let me put you in perspective…I’m here on Planet Earth, which is part of the Solar System. We all think the Earth is really big-the 'be all and end all'.We don’t realize that the Earth is like the head of a pin when compared to this Universe.Indeed,it would take a million earths to fill up the Sun.Yet the Sun is just a tiny star in this Universe. What lies beyond we will never know.Could there be life on some planet out there that we are totally clueless about? ALLAH TA'ALA knows best-it is ONLY HIM who knows the secrets of the Universe-HE is the Creator of the Universe.

So yeah…it’s a humungous place out there. And if the Earth is so small compared to the Sun,and the Sun is so small compared to the Universe…can I comprehend how small I am in relation to the Universe? It's mind boggling! No Mathematician or Scientist on Earth would ever be able to figure that one out.Can we imagine the absolute POWER of ALLAH TA'ALA? Subhanallah...

I am so insignicficant…I am NOTHING….YET if I was the only person in this HUGE Universe sincerely reciting the Kalima-the Universe would be spared from total destruction because of this belief.Subhanallah… Do we realize the TREMENDOUS VALUE, The SIGNIFICANCE of this belief that lies in each one of us?

I bear witness that there is NO GOD but ALLAH and that MUHAMMAD ( Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) is HIS servant and Messenger.

Without this belief-we are mere particles of insignificance, living a life devoid of true happiness or direction-doomed to destruction and pain for ever and ever.

With it-we are radiant souls professing the truth, while we posess the potential to reach such great heights in both worlds and to reach such pinnacles of eternal bliss that no mind can ever comprehend…

Never will I be able to thank ALLAH TA'ALA enough for giving me the ability to recognize and worship HIM alone.I beg ALLAH TA'ALA to make me live and die for HIS sake alone...

Subhanallah!
Alhamdulillah!
AllahuAkbar!

I am Proudly a MUSLIM.

Asalaam Aleikum Warahmatullah Wabarakatu,

Just to think, this universe and everything in it was created just for our bringing into being (us and jinns).

Just to get a clue of how big this universe is, according to star trek, to get from the alpha quadrant of the milky way to the delta quadrant and the speed of light to the ninth power would take over a hundred years. That's just the milky way!!!

you know guys, I was thinking,
this entry and the earlier poem, looser.
I mean I know, most of us are beating to the bush teh point, we are insignificance.
I mean, i think we'd have figured that out by this time in life. We need something more, something uplifting rather than saying, we are nothin, we are loosers, we are insignificant.
But wait... we are something...and like you mentioned sister, we are muslims, we are the khulaafaa on earth. We have a job here, lets not make this seem as insignificant, in shaa Allaah. We gotta straighten out our acts to worship Allaah. Our DESIRES and WISHES and maybe unfulfilled DREAMs are insignificant, but WE, ourselves are not.
